Campaign Story
A six year old girl, Grade 1, special needs child, with cerebral palsy, on a wheelchair, her brother and mom are experiencing challenges going to school/work. They used to travel to school/work via her mom's car, however her mom had a car accident shortly after dropping her brother at school. They do not have a car insurance as they do not afford one and have not to fix the car. The greatest challenge is travelling to and from school. The local taxis are not wheelchair friendly and also very expensive. The bus does not go via her school route. Since the taxis are not wheelchair friendly, the child is carried to the taxi, then walk a long distance to school, she then uses the school's equipment. After dropping her, them mom and brother have to walk to the brother's school to drop him (there are no direct taxis to the brother's school), then the mom walks a distance to work. The same process is repeated in the afternoon. Any amount of donation towards fixing their car will be highly appreciated.
