Help Small Family Business Heavily Affected by the Pandemic

Hello!

My name is Miggy, a 28-year-old hardworking gent from the Philippines. I got engaged to my fiancé last year and we decided to venture into a business with her family in order to have additional means of income.

We took a loan of approximately USD$20,200 or Php980,000 in order for us to start and have the complete amount of money to start a mini convenience store just in front of the house.

Everything was going well until the pandemic hit the Philippines, it hit HARD that we weren't able to finish our store and start our business. We went for 4 months without proper income and our remaining finances from the loan went straight back to repayment.

Now that things are slightly going back to normal, we were able to open our store but we still haven't financially recovered. We don't make much sales as people still don't really go our as much. And we can't charge our products high because then no one would buy from us.

We are really, really struggling to repay our loan as it is just me and my fiancé earning salaries which is not even that much. We have family to help and provide for, four dogs to feed and a wedding to save for(which we honestly don't have money for yet — nothing for our future yet, no house building savings, etc...). I know it's no one's responsibility except ours but we ought to give this fundraising a try. I know that there are far more people worthy of donations but any help will go a long way and rest assured we will absolutely do our best to work hard and do our very best to get through this trial. And we will be utterly grateful to anyone who extends a hand. We would love to connect with each and every one of you.
