My name is Kendra.

I have been working for Child Protective Services for two years. It has opened my eyes to so much more than I could have ever imagined, and led me to pursue my career as a Licensed Social Worker. Getting my license will open up a whole world of opportunities when it comes to working with children who have experienced abuse, neglect, and trauma.

I am a single mother of two beautiful boys, ages 4 and 8.

You truly have to have a passion to work in the social services field, as your income nowhere near matches the amount of work you do, which is emotionally, mentally, and physically draining. Unfortunately, this makes funds limited to pay for the ever rising cost of graduate school tuition. Due to my work schedule, I will be taking online classes instead of traditional courses.

I have enough to pay for my classes, however fall short in paying for my books and a laptop to participate in online classes. I don’t come from the best childhood myself, and am passionate about helping children in similar situations. I just need a little help along the way to make this dream a reality, and am hoping there are kind hearted individuals in the community willing to not only help me financially, but invest in my future for my children, and thousands of children in need. Your donation would be beyond appreciated and I cannot express my gratitude enough
