Help the single father!

Do you know of a single father raising his kids and doing it tough? Trying to find work while supporting his family?

I would like to appeal to one and all about the role of the single father.

I have experienced a similar journey and have a project that I would like your help to get off the ground and help support men and their families on the road to financial freedom and overall success.

I am Jayson Macmillan from a town called Amanzimtoti south of Durban city in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Unfortunately there are times where many a father abandon's the mother and children and that is very sad and selfish. Yet there are also situations where there are fathers who take care of the children and the mother abandon's them. I am very much respectful of single mothers who are doing such a sterling, mighty job, raising children on their own. However, we hear of many groups that support single mom's and their children, but what support is out there for the single father’s? It seems like they have been forgotten and because they are men, they are stereotyped as not needing similar support. I for one know we do.

Myself, with another single father are setting up a business where we help, encourage, train and esteem these single father's who I know are broken, depressed, their masculinity has been crushed. We hope and dream to have a space/workshop and one day a franchise where these men can receive training and encouragement. We want to see them be a benefit to the community, to their children and ultimately to themselves.

So if there are any people out there who know of single fathers who struggling without proper support and are raising children themselves, or even if you are a father who is going through something similar, please find it in your hearts to support this project. We want to connect with you.
