Campaign Story
We are a couple of siblings of Colombian nationality and we’ve been living in Panama for the most part of our lives. Due to the critical economical situation of the country, our parents have fallen in bankruptcy and can’t pay for our education. Generously, the university in which we study allowed us to continue studying, but we are getting closer to the point where we have to pay what we owe to be able to start thesis. We have tried to seek for help from the governments, but since we are immigrants no government allows us to apply for scholarships, despite our efforts and excellent grades. Additionally, we have different jobs to help our parents but even so it’s a huge amount of money for us. We have many debts and we can’t apply for a bank loan, we’re bankrupt. To be able to finish college, we have calculated that what we owe and what we still have to pay is about US$200,000. It would mean the world to us to receive your support, to be able to finish college and be able to help our parents out of this situation.
