Help showcase Palestinian talents! Bala Jumhour Music Sessions – second round

Who are we

LiveJerusalem is a collective that was founded in 2019 by individuals aiming to shape the Middle East experience in web video and social media, music, and arts. LiveJerusalem serves as a platform for rising Palestinian talents to showcase their talents with a full in-house production team.

The name in Arabic "عيش القدس ", which translates to "Live Jerusalem", emphasizes the main vision of our initiative; To deliver united and inclusive Palestinian content.

We are a group of Palestinians with various professional backgrounds. Having met in Jerusalem as a group, and due to the significance of the Holy City to each member, we incorporated the city’s name into our initiative.

The problem:

As a group of youth that has an interest in video producing and in the music industry, we realized that we have a huge gap in the music scene in the Arab world in general and in Palestine specifically, where we have talented musicians and artists that don't have enough resources to bring and show their talents at their best, where the situation got even worse with the COVID-19 since they don't have an opportunity to perform live and create shows.

The Solution:

We came up with an idea to create unique music sessions which we call "Bala Jumhour" which means without an audience in Arabic, Bala Jumhour is a project aiming to host Palestinian musicians and let them perform live where this session will be filmed and edited and published on our YouTube channel.

We already have produced the first round that consists of 13 sessions, But all of that costs a lot of money, and that’s where YOU comes in.

What do we need?

To be able to achieve our goals and accomplish our vision with this project, And since We are individuals and don't have the right budget to hire the required team members neither have the right equipment to achieve our vision. We need YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT to be able to buy some equipment such as cameras and lenses and have enough budget for the freelancers that work with us as such as cameramen and editors to work with us!

With Your support and being able to produce and publish the second round of 13 sessions, we believe that we will be able to achieve a milestone where we will start to have a passive income from Youtube and other platforms and be able to be consistent and create further sessions and even start another production lines.

What exactly will we use the money for?

• Purchasing two new cameras with their accessories. Two Sony A7s III cameras to be exact.
• Lights and sound equipment rental for 13 sessions
• Payments for 4 cameramen, 1 editor,1 colorist, and one sound engineer for 13 sessions
