Our fundraising: We urgently need to join forces to collect resources to help Joysila Roja Rojas, 29, from the native community of Paoyhan. She is currently experiencing major health issues for which we pray for help. Her problems started with fever, body aches, vomiting and diarrhea, which lasted for two days, and then escalated when we went to the community doctor, a nursing technician, for medical attention. After receiving injections at the medical post, Joysila Rojas suffered a fatal back accident. Her parents (unable to carry out their normal livelihood activities due to the quarantine and the halt on the economy put in place by the Peruvian government) are launching this campaign to help with medical costs and food. Her parents, Humberto Rojas Martínez and Elia Rojas Shuña, and Joysila's siblings, are very worried. Joysila has been transferred from her community of Paoyhan to Pucallpa, a 5-hour trip. She has been in excruciating pain for weeks, as this issue has been ongoing. After a medical analysis, it was revealed that Joysila had a tumor in her gluteal muscle and that she needed to undergo surgery. But he has not yet recovered, and this treatment takes time. Joysila's parents no longer have the means to pay all the expenses. Today, her parents ask for help for their daughter.
