Help Shanthi Kumar recover from ICU and beat Covid-19

Akoijam Shanthi Kumar 67 years old, My Father, sole bread winner for the family in Manipur, India has not opened his tiny shop since 25th April. He tested positive for Covid. Since then, getting admitted in a hospital has been the sole aim for all. Finally got into Shija Hospital, a private hospital on May 3rd. From there it has been down hill and on 16th May was admitted into ICU. He is still in ICU with Ventilators. Doctors has mentioned this is a long road and only chance to recover is to stay in ICU and would not advice to take out of ICU.

The cost of ICU is very high, with the cost running to more than SGD$1000 a day and with ventilators it can be as close to SGD$2000 a day. This is a lot and we don't see any end in sight anytime soon. We are pulling in all we have and feel we don't have enough for a prolong Use of an ICU. As i write this he is on his 8th day in ICU. Never seen him so frail in my life.

We will be very grateful and would love to see Him get back on his feet and meet all his Daughters & grand children. Any contribution towards his recovery would go a long way.
