Hi last 2013,my 6 year old daughter Shakira was diagnosed to have Refractive Esotropia, this is an inward deviation of both eyes 6 months after she has convulsion due to high fever. From then on she was prescribed to wear refractive eyeglasses to possibly fix her vision. For almost four years of monthly check up and several replacements of eyeglasses Doctor says after our March 14, 2017 scheduled check up if there is still no improvement, she will undergo an ye surgery to correct her eyesight. As per her doctor there's possibly two eye muscles each eye that needs to be corrected. Advising us to prepare for her eye operation before she turns 7 on October 18,2017. Her operation as advised can be done sooner or later preferably before going to grade school in June. As we were advised one eye muscle surgery would cost Php15k,and her affected eye muscles are 4 in total. So we need to prepare more or less Php60k. And not all of these cost will be covered by health insurance.Also we were prescribed to get a new eyeglasses again and the cost is more expensive than her old eyeglasses because of the lenses. She was prescribed to get OD +5.50-2.00x 180 / OS 4.50-1.00 x 180. So I am knocking on your heart to get any possible help you can share. Thanks and God bless!

Update posted by Louriza Rotilo at 06:59 amAfter wearing her new eyeglasses her doctor found improvement on her eyes. We are given 3 months since the new eyeglasses works for her. After 3 months we will know if she still needs eye operation or not. Thank you for the support and for those who donated in advance
