Help Shaka Walker Create His Next LGBT Themed Film

Short Summary

Shaka Walker is an African American Film & Television Actor born 
October 
4th 1988 in Camden, NJ. Shaka has mad apperances on a few
red carpet 
screenings to promote his films. He is the
prouducer of Promise Me A Lie (2012) and actor in Change (2012) & 
A Bitter Pill (2012) which generated 
alot of buzz on many online
website that showcased articles on his work and 
in the african american
gay community.  Shaka participated in  NIKE (RED) "Lace Up, Save Lives" Commercial  as a HIV, Stamper - Promoter/Motivator  to help bring awareness
 to end AIDS in Africa.His main focus is to work
on films that support the LGBT/LGBT HIV Community.
Shaka Walker is apart of the much 
anticipated documentary
Out In The Open (2013) which is set to release at the 
end of January where he
discusses what it is like being gay and the issues 
that follow. Shaka is on board to do an open live reading of (For Colored Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Still Not Yet Enough) by Keith Boykin for West Hollywood Pride in June of 2013.  He is an openly gay 
African american actor & HIV Positive.

What I Need & What You Get

I need a total of $500 for locations scouting, editor, film maker, cast, crew, and food for production.

You will get a copy of the completed film, and a signed autography of me.

If I dont reach my goal the funds will go to the LA Gay & Lesbian Center, & Echo Park Film Center.

The Impact

LGBT is an important society that is frail and need support from people to create a film that can help build confidence, hope, and inspirations to the community. Specfically for LGBT youth, and of color.

My project is vaulable because I want to me known and show the world through my eyes of a black young gay boy through stories of LGBT events in film.
