Help send Sam’s parents to Italy

My name is Sam. I'm one of two loving sons of two extremely amazing parents.

After the Vietnam War, my dad immigrated from Vietnam to Canada by boat. Enduring treacherous seas, and the threat of being killed by one of the many sea pirates. Once arriving in Canada, my dad slowly rose up the ladder to open a small trade business repairing watches and clocks. He loves his work, and wouldn't trade for anything else.

In Canada , this is where he met my mum, the love of his life. An immigrant from the Philippines. She too rose up life's ladder becoming a registered care assistant. There is no way to represent the number of lives she has touched and made better.

Over the last 5 years,my parents have endured through tough times. Mum has fought through a torn shoulder, having her gall bladder removed, and cancer. She has fought through having several surgeries. My dad has been the most supportive taking care of everything for my mum and our family. Although, he has also faced a gastrointestinal issue that medical professionals are still trying to diagnose on top of the cardiovascular issues he has developed.

I am launching this gofundme to help raise funds for my parents to go on their dream trip to Italy. This will give them a once in a lifetime chance to see a chunk of the vast great lands beyond Canada's already beautiful scenery. This will also give them a chance, as they are devout Roman Catholics, to see Vatican City.
