Help send John Ross back to school and reunite him with his family

John Ross lives in Alcoy, Cebu. He is currently staying with an aunt as his mother had to leave to find work in the city. He lost his dad at an early age - he fell off the billboard he was helping set up. Due to difficulties earning money, his mother had no choice but leave for the city. She currently works in one of the grocery stores in Cebu.

His mom brought with her his 4 other siblings. Since he's the eldest, he was the one left with their other relatives in Alcoy. They don't have enough money and he had no choice but to stop from going to school.

I met him in Alcoy. He helped me book a room in one of the resorts there. I found out kater on that the resort owners/keepers would sometimes feed him or let him stay for the night.

It was not hard to like him. He was all smiles even when narrating what for me, was a HUGE challenge for a kid his age.

Why am I doing this for him? He showed me that there is no HUGE challenge or obstacle for someone with a big heart. He understands his situation and trods through life with a hopeful heart. He hopes to go back to school this coming schoolyear and one day be reunited with his family.

The amount he could get from this site should help get him back to school and at the same time help his family with a small start up business so they can be together again
