Help Send Dream Team To The SA Men’s and Women’s Nationals

Dream Team is an outreach development Ultimate Frisbee Club based in Gauteng, made up of young people from Soweto and Orange Farm in an effort to inspire change, active living and grow the sport of Ultimate in the Townships.

We created this page hoping South Africans and the World will help us fund our trip to KwaZulu-Natal to compete in the SA Men's and Women's Nationals 2019

The tournament will be played from the 5th and 6th of October at Lions River Club.

In short, Ultimate is a non-contact team sport played with a flying disc(Frisbee). In South Africa the sport is still unknown but growing. Players and teams have to fund their own trips and other expenses.

As one of the only two disadvantaged black teams in SA playing the sport, we find it difficult to go around SA to play in tournaments due to the fact that many of our players are high school, university students, some are unemployed.

We love the sport and we need your support to attend our first big event of 2019.

From Soweto/Orange Farm to KwaZulu-Natal the costs are approximately R8000 for the entire team of about 11 players.
