Hi there, Friends and Family!

I think most of you know that we see ourselves as just a regular family that happens to have a daughter with Down syndrome and Autism.  We don't usually make a big deal about what really is normal and just everyday life for us. But the truth is, once in awhile we do need to get creative in order to do all we can for Annie.  We found a pretty amazing intensive therapy camp in Colorado that sounds like it would be an awesome experience for a kid with Down syndrome or Autism (or both).  Another pretty fantastic thing about this camp is that they include the camper's typical sibling--so Aiden could meet and play with kids his age who also have a brother or sister with special needs.

We applied for a camp scholarship to help defray the costs of therapy camp but scholarships are more likely to go to the families that show an effort to raise some funds on their own.  We decided to reach out to those that we normally ask to support various Down syndrome related fundraisers and instead see if sponsoring Annie's therapy camp could be our Down syndrome fundraiser this year. All sponsors will receive a fabulous I HELPED SEND ANNIE TO CAMP gift.  We promise not to ask any of you buy cookies or magazines or gift wrap from the kids this year!

Thanks for being so awesome!
