Hi everyone. I am Seetha, a first year medical student from Malaysia. Since a child my dream was to become a doctor because nothing makes me more fulfilling than helping others. But due to family circumstances, I thought my dream is too big to achieve. Over the time I realised, come what may I will work hard to become a successful doctor and eventually become a specialist. I have gotten amazing results in my SPM (O Level) despite not attending classes for the academic year as I had represented the nation for the Asian Games. I have performed well in both academics and sports. My father is the sole bread winner for the family and his business has been going unsteady for the past couple of years. My parents still have to fund my siblings including myself.
I now need to pay my tuition fee for the first year of my medical degree. My first term exam is in December and fees need to be paid by end of November. Failing which I will not be allowed to sit for the final exams. '
I have been working part time to fund my living costs but it is still not enough to make ends meet. I write for contents and tutor as a side income. As my classes and exams are getting tougher it is challenging to work part time longer. Please help me realise my ambition to become a doctor. I will keep everyone of you who donated in my prayers. I promise to become a good doctor so that I can serve everyone especially the poor and needy. Thank you in advance. May God bless you.
