Ever since Ukraine was invaded by Russia and Crimea was annexed, the people of Ukraine have been crying out for help from the west, which only responds with apathy. Poland, one of Ukraine's greatest allies, has refused to assist Ukraine, and Romania, another ally, will not help them in their need.
As Americans, we are used to constant comfort, and we find no need for knowing anything about the other nations of this shared world. In general, most Americans have chosen to be entirely ignorant of Ukraine's issues, let alone give any heed or sign of care. What we need to understand is that we are all in this earth and are all worth the same, and instead of paying attention to our spoiled and menial concerns, we must help return freedom to our fellow humans in need. In addition, over two decades ago, when Ukraine became a free nation, they willingly handed over all of their nuclear weapons to the USA in exhange for a promise, being that the USA would defend Ukraine whenever it needs help. It is up to the people to succeed where the government has failed. Ukraine Isn't Dead Yet is a campaign to create a professional, full length film that explains the problems in Ukraine from the perspective of a Ukrainian soldier named Viktor in Crimea. Since it is a film, it requires a large budget, and this is the first of a series of campiagns to give the film a substantial budget to work with. All donations received go directly to the film's budget. When the film comes out, a large chunk of proceeds will go to the Ukrainian Freedom Fund, which buys things that support the Ukrainian army, excluding actual combat weapons or ammunition. Items they have given include coats, blankets, tires, car batteries, etc. Their website is:
Thousands of innocent Ukrainian men, women, and children are calling out for help as their freedom is stripped away.
Will you answer their call?
