Campaign Story
Help save the horses of Taal!
We’re collaborating with organizations and local farms throughout Cavite & Batangas to rescue injured and abandoned horses in Taal and surrounding areas.
Most of these horses were left behind by their owners during the volcano’s eruption and are now in need of urgent care.
All of the proceeds will go to their transportation, maintenance, and veterinary care such as:
- Trailer fees
- Water
- Feeds & grass
- Bottles of saline/normosol/nss
- Sponges
- Ophthalmic antibiotic drops (tobramycin, gentamicin etc)
- Dry eye drops (methycellulose, hialid, corneregel, etc)
- IV lines
- 18g needles
- Gillette Rubie Blades
- Scissors
- Cotton
- Alcohol
- Perla / joy detergent
- Rubber nasal aspirators
- Syringes 10-30 ml
- Facial tissues
- Baby wipes
- IV catheters
- Electrolyte supplement powder
- Energidex
- Duphalyte
- Bandages
- Hair clippers
- Feeds
- Water buckets
Any amount will make a difference! :)
If you’d like to volunteer, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We’re looking for vets, drivers for the trailers, and people to help us herd, load & care for the horses. To follow our progress in more detail, find us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/taalhorserescue/
Please help us spread the word!
