London attack: Australian woman Sara Zelenak was killed in Borough Market

Young Australian au pair Sara Zelenak has been confirmed dead by her mother.

Her family and friends had been desperatley searching for her since Saturday night, and finally found out on Tuesday evening that she had been killed in the terrorist attack at London bridge.

Her mother, who had flown to London to find her daughter, shared a post to the woman's Facebook on Wednesday to tell followers her body had been found.

She wrote: "Sara Zelenak is confirmed dead, they found her body and has DNA tests confirmed. Thank you for all the overwhelming love and support from everyone". Let's help her please.
