Help save Teneessees life

This is Tennessee and our story

Teni, as we all like to call him, is currently almost 8 years old staffie. We have been through so much together and he is truly one of his kind. He protects our little family and friends and gives love to us all. His energy will always brighten even the darkest day. He even learned to alert without any special training to my mom to let her now that something is wrong. He continues to help us and we now need to help him. Unfortunately it seems that we would not be able to do so all alone.

By end of February 2022 his nodes on his neck have swollen. After check up with our doctor we hoped that this might be only an infection and he received antibiotics.

After couple of days even after the swelling has reduced for a little bit, his neck has gotten significantly bigger again and he was in pain. A sample has been sent for testing as this no longer seemed as any infection but cancer.

Our fear has been confirmed on the next day when we have visited veterinary clinic for some more tests.

On March 3rd we have spend whole day waiting for some more results. Finally we had some answers but they were hardly good. His diagnose - Canine Lymphoma - cancer. Thankfully, all other tests shows, that he has great chance for recovery if the treatment will start soon. Without it, he would have only 2 or 3 painful months.

Hence we have started. Chemo and meds and all several other tests that will need to be done for him to get better. We are investing everything into this as he is everything to us.

His treatment started on Friday - March 4th. Unfortunately all the diagnostic costs and meds has already been quite expensive. For the first 2 days we have paid out over 2,000 EUR. We will do everything we can to save him, but it seems we need your help too. Me and my mom have saved up money, but considering our situation, it will not be enough. We are living together just us three and my mom is sick too so she needs to stay home and I am supporting our little family. I will not tell you how covid for us screwed everything up and drained a lot of our savings. I know a lot of you were in similar situations at some point.

All of this is the reason why I am kindly asking for help as I simply cannot let him die without trying, Even if it means asking other people for their compassion and willingness to help.

We need him and want him to be with us for couple of years longer.
