Help save Reniel from the enhancing brain tumor

In June 16, 2019, Fathers' Day, I, Reniel Barcelona, 58, instead of receiving a present had received something that changed my life forever.

After a week of severe constipation and feeling bloated, I decided to have myself checked. I have undergone ultrasound and was initially referred to an internal doctor. Series of tests were done and colonoscopy was performed; a rectal mass was discovered and I had to undergo operation to extract the mass. Doctors decided to put me on a permanent colostomy (part of the intestine is removed or permanently rested) to avoid the recurrence of the mass. Later on after the biopsy, I was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer.

That did not stop me from anything, life went on. I had cycles of chemotherapy and finished the fourth in November. I was supposed to have my radiation but life is really unpredictable.

In January 2020, after my cranial CT scan result was released, another mass was found in my brain. The cancer has metastasized. According to the neurosurgeon, I will need to undergo an open brain surgery to extract the mass. But the financial burden would be too much as I and my wife are only financially supported by our children.
