Help Save Ptr. Clint’s Eyes from Blindness

He is 1 in 4000. He has retinitis pigmentosa. It is so rare that many are unaware of this degenerative disease he is into.

When we first met, everything was colorful but now, it is gradually becoming dull and gray.

Diagnosed at the age of 6, he still remembers the vivid doctor's words, "Hintayin mo na lang na mabulag siya" (Just wait for he'll eventually become blind) addressing to his devastated mama. He tried hard to live his life as normally as possible the very day he knew about his condition.

Blessed with music as his talent, inspired by his father, he invested his time and life in it, made it his career. We've met because of music. ❤️

He also is a public speaker. Mentored by his father, he has inspired and still inspiring the church.

Another devastating moment tested his faith when his best buddy/teacher/mentor/father passed away 3 years ago today.

The fast deterioration of his retina and the death of his father, made him think to quit in his ministry and pastorship . His faith was shook and questioned God.

Life is not in our hands, he realized. It's in God's and all we need to do is to live it rooted in Christ and spend it with a purpose.

As of the moment, he is now partially blind relying in his periphiral vision but he grew stronger in faith. It didn't hinder him to inspire more people through his preachings and worship leading. He counts each day as if it's his last to see.

I saw how people showed their love to him through their testimonies on how they were inspired that inspite of his condition, he still finds ways to show positivity and optimism.

A year ago, he strived to put up his own t-shirt printing shop with the help of his friends to prove his worthiness as a head of the family dispite his disability.
