Help save our Kuya Jr from TB Meningitis

Our brother was diagnosed with TB Meningitis last March 3, 2021 and is currently staying in the ICU of Our Lady of Mercy General Hospital since February 27, 2021. He has also undergone an operation due to hydrocephalus last March 4 and is currently in state of coma.

Days before his hospitalization, he started vomiting and was always complaining of headache, he was rushed to the ER last February 26 then he was transferred from ER to ICU on February 27 after being negative from COVID-19. The source of his fever was still unknown that time, doctors speculated that it was Sepsis, but was ruled out afterwards.

Our brother was assessed by several doctors and specialists up until the time he was admitted, and as per the advice of his doctors, a lumbar tap was done and the results showed positive for TB meningitis.

His current condition is very critical. Although an operation was done, doctors have explained to us that it was a solution to just one of the many complications of the disease.

The hospital bill has exponentially grew bigger and this is something that we are really worried about aside from his condition. This is the only way we know on how we can help to sustain his hospitalization.
