Help save our business from being another COVID statistic!

In September of 2019 my husband and I started our business with building custom concealment furniture and art. In case you don't know what that entails- we build furniture that has a locked, hidden compartment for storing firearms or other valuables. We had great success from the beginning and we broke every sales record we set! Within our first 15 days in front of customers we grossed just under $10,000 in sales! We started really picking up momentum the beginning of this year traveling to multiple shows throughout the state and getting orders from all over Utah. Unlike most businesses our customers didn't come to us specifically--we came to them at shows. The first weekend in March we had what would be the last event for over 6 months! In these 6 months we struggled trying to make ends meet and barely managed. September came and with it a breath of fresh air--but it didn't last. We had 2 shows before being shut down again due to government restrictions for trade shows. This business is not only what we have dreamt of building for us but this is the legacy we are leaving for our children.

Without knowing when trade shows will be able to consistently happen again, we have 2 choices--we let our business and dreams die, or we open an essential storefront to bring customers to us. We have worked really hard to find a building to give a fresh start and a new life to our business. Our biggest problem right now, is do to our income fluctuating so much this year we can't get a loan for our business, even with putting up all our equipment for collateral. In order to secure the lease for this building we have to put a substantial deposit down toward the lease. All of this adds up to why we are here--asking for help from our family, friends and community.

We have a solid plan to expand our business, having a concealment furniture inventory, and adding a full service gunsmithing operation. We will be expanding our training classes to all of our certified NRA training classes, Utah & Colorado Concealed carry permit classes, as well as a list of our own curriculum such as reloading and first aid classes. We are going to be bringing in some world class gunsmiths to build our own brand of record breaking long distance and accuracy rifles. Experience is the biggest value we are going to have on hand & we will have a gunsmith with over 40 years of experience at the helm of our gunsmithing department. To get the gunsmithing operation up we have to have a building to apply for our FFL, and once we have the building it will take about 60-90 days. That means we are going to be putting everything we have into making this the best full service gun shop around, opening Spring of 2021. This building is not only a great location, but has everything we need to make this succeed.
