After 17 years of dedication to one employer, my mother, Patricia Metcalf recently lost her job. Unemployment quicly ran its course,in addition to her savings trying to maintain the household. As a result, she was forced to make drastic sacrafies, and unfortunetly she she could no longer afford homeowners insurance. Monday night in the wee hours of the morning, they were awakend by neighbors yelling for them to get out of the house; my mother house was burning while they slept. Although he house was not a total loss, numerous items have to be replaced or reconstructed, and some things are lost forever. She is the rock of our family, and would never ask for a handout. My heart is extremly heavy. It saddens me that I have to take these measures, but our backs are against the wall. For those of you who know my family, you understand how incredibly difficult this is for us. I am grateful I can kiss, hug, and love my family another day! I understand times are hard for many of us, so monotary donations are not possilble for some. Talents and services are greatly appreciated as well. We believe in the power of prayer, prayer and encouragements are always welcome! Iwant to thank you all in advance for your kind offerings.
