Help save my house

I am currently trying to raise about $5000 to cover some legal fees to prevent losing my home. Around August/September of 2016, I started feeling ill. At that time they diagnosed it as pneumonia. Between September 2016 and September 2017, I had been diagnosed three more times with pneumonia. In October 2017, after two more failed rounds of antibiotics it was finally decided that there was something other than pneumonia going on. I’ve been to three specialists; a pulmonologist, rheumatologist, and most recently a nephrologist. I am currently scheduled to go to the University of Michigan for further testing to hopefully determine what is going on. All of these medical problems resulted in absences and problems at my job and eventually lead to having to take short-term disability. I returned to work, but was eventually let go in February 2018.

It's not much to look at right now, but there was a significant amount of work that had to be done just to make it livable. I had the outdated and out of code electric supply replaced and rerun inside the house; I had the old leaking copper plumbing completely replaced with new PEX; I had the city water supply and city sewer lines completely replaced; and I replaced 10 windows adding a new picture window to the front of the house. The remaining work is mostly cosmetic. I have invested well over $60k of my own money. I have basically sunk every bit of savings/retirement funds that I had into this house.

Raising this money will provide me the additional time I need to complete the renovations and make this a great home in a great area.
