Help save my home

I am raising funds for my family to be able to remain in our home; something which we are at risk of losing, after having lost so much already.

In 2015 we started a Restaurant Business in order to create work for my family in a country where employment is now hard to get. Not long after the business started things started to go very bad. We discovered that our franchise business partner did not deliver on his promises and that the money that was to go into the business was pocketed by him. Eventually we could no longer keep the business running and the debts could not be paid.

Not long after the tragedy of the restaurant my father in law was diagnosed with mesothelioma cancer and has no passed away in July 2016. All of this has left us financially insecure and we were still devastated by the loss of the restaurant as well. Our world had changed beyond recognition in a matter of months.

We have been informed by the attorney handling the liquidation of the restaurant that unless we come up with the necessary funds to keep our home we will lose at the end of August. Other than myself, the only constant and stable factor that has remained in their precious lives since our world turned upside down in 2015 and has been in freefall ever since. The home where they have a physical connection to my father in law; where we have memories each time we look out into the garden and can visualize him working under the tree, smiling and having fun.

Throughout all of these tragic events that have thrown themselves upon us, I have remained steadfastly determined that I will continue to fight for my home. I am not prepared to have endured so much, to have fought so hard and to have remained so determined that I will give up and allow our last remnant of familiarity to disappear.

Raising $93646.40 (R1 254 000.00 South African Rand) will mean that my home will be secure.
