Asking help for my fathers medication. 😔 He is Saturnino Yuson, 69 years old.

July 24, 2020 papa was confined in Mother Seton at Naga City because of an unexplained chills, high fever, a bloated stomach feeling and difficulty in breathing. Due to pandemic, he was not attended immediately by the doctor because of a large quantity of patients. He stayed at the ER for 2 days and eventually delivered to the ICU in critical condition and has been intubated for 5 days. (Manas na manas). He has been revived already in the ICU on his 3rd day. Base on several lab tests, he has been diagnosed of pneumonia, pulmonary edema, and heart failure. He is also a type 2 Diabetic. However, praise God 🙏 that he has able to surpass that stage. Nakasurvive si papa.

Pero hindi pa pla tapos ang laban ni papa. After he had been trasferred to recovery room, he sufferred again for chills, high fever, and feeling bloated and not able to breath normally. Several laboratories again such as XRAYS and CTSCAN for abdominal and chest has been performed and they found out that he has masses (bukol) in liver and lungs and we are advised that my papa need to undergo a biopsy to check if those masses is malignant or benign but according to the doctor it could be painful and they could not give us a 100 percent chances that he could be recovered. These several masses identifies as a cancer stage 4. Her medicines costs 10k a day and our hospital bill arrises at 265k already.

In this regard, all of us decided to take my father home. And papa really wanted to go home na din. Pero akala namin ganun kadali. We could not able to discharge him immediately because the hospital requires us to pay atleast 145k for us to discharge our papa. Thru the help of facebook friends, relatives and workmates before asking donations, we gathered 90k donations and since we had nothing to give for collateral as the hospital requires too we decided with consent of papa to offer his ATM pension as collateral. Apparently, they accepted it.

More so, currently our papa is now home at San Pedro Lupi Camarines Sur and we are trying for herbal meds (baka sakaling epektibo) for his medications. We spent 6k weekly for these herbal meds. Aside of this, we are struggling to find money also for the remaining hospital fees also amounting to 163k, given that we are still in a pandemic and things have been through.We are knocking your benevolent hearts and are humbly asking for financial help and donations. No matter how small, any amount would be greatly appreciated.
