Help save Lucy from a dog attack!

I'm a UF student raising money to pay for Lucy's medical bills. She was viscously attacked by another dog. The estimated vet bills are 8,000$. Please donate, help me save my dog.

Lucy is a 5 year old toy pomerian and was a victim of a devastating attack by a Labrador this past Sunday. They had been playing all weekend so I was more relaxed about watching her. I heard her screaming and ran into the other room to see blood everywhere and no skin on her back. The vet said the lab ‘de-gloved’ her and she is fortunate to be alive. Lucy needed over 200 stiches, draining tubes, hours of surgery and two days in the hospital. Four thousand dollars in vet bills and treatment from her surgery and we have to see a specialist for skin graphs since some of her skin failed to reattach.

Lulu is my baby girl and goes everywhere with me. I love her with all my heart! She has been so strong through this tragic event. Unfortunately the owner of lab cannot afford to pay the vet bills nor can my family and I. I am a twenty two year old working college student. Any donation is seriously appreciated. All the tissue got infected , now has to be taken off today. 

UPDATE!!!

I am sorry for not updating Lucy's progress punctually. It has been a really tough 10 days for the both of us. Seeing your baby hurt is devastating. She has massive infection growing under her skin. All the sutures are ripping apart. The skin is dying and not reattaching. I have been at the hospital with her all day for emergency surgery. All of the dead skin is being removed.

She has been hospitalized for over a week. It is estimated to be around $5,000. I am seriously struggling. If you can donate even $5 it helps. They will not continue medical treatment without the money first. I have been denied by all financial plans. I would not be asking for help if she was in pain or suffering. The doctors said she is healthy, young and expected to make a full recovery.Thank you to my friends, family, even strangers who have helped support little Lucy. I am not giving up on her! Please don't either.
