Meet little Leo.
This sweet kitten was born on a farm and brought in when his mother got sick and was unable to care for him. Little Leo and his 3 litter mates would have been euthanized at animal control when Kit Cat Club Rescue took them in. Mama cat tested positive for FIV, and so little Leo and his littermates are vulnerable and will need testing when they are a little older.
Leo's eye needs immediate medical attention, and he is also growth stunted about half the size of his brothers and sisters (and this is pretty tiny, since his littermates are also stunted). Leo is also fighting off a bit of a cold and needs to be hand fed to help him keep his strength up.
At 6 weeks old, Leo is so tiny he fits right into the palm of your hand with room to spare. While he trys to keep up with his brothers and sisters, Leo isnt as steady on his feet and has trouble keeping up.
It will be a long way to recovery, but with proper vetrinary care and treatment and a lot of TLC, Leo and his siblings can live a happy and healthy life.
We are a non profit organization in Hamilton, Ontario run by a dedicated team of volunteers. 100% of money raised goes towards the medical care and treatment of local street cats just like Leo.
Donations can also be made to Kit Cat Club Rescue at the vetrinary clinic treating Leo and his siblings, either in person (538 Upper Wellington St - Hamilton), or by phone via credit card (905-575-0538). Every dollar counts, and we sincerely thank you for your prayers and any donation that you can make towards little Leo's medical care.
