Ken (Sirawan Limsari) is a 51 years old Thai lady and a great chef that knows all Thai dishes from the old style cooking. Ken and her partner Maggi (Natchol Korsriswan) used to have a Thai restaurant in Chiang Rai but they had to stop when Ken got real sick.

She has diabetes for a long time until it went up to her eyes and she could not see well in addition she has a very severe kidney problem and her both kidneys are not working anymore.

In October 2019 Maggi and Ken left their house and their lovely 4 dogs in the North of Thailand and moved to the South because Maggi found a job in Samui. They were living in the island when Ken almost died without breaking as a result of her kidney problem. She stayed in Samui Hospital for 3 weeks and as soon as she got a little bit better she had to fly to Bangkok and start dialysis.

Now she is still in Bangkok in an ongoing program for kidney transplant (in one of the King's Project "Kidney Transplant with the different blood group" to help his people) which her sister is going to give one of her kidneys to Ken. Then they need to prepare themselves for Kidney transplant and need to do many body test to make sure that the transplant will be successful. While doing the body test Ken still needs to do dialysis 3 times a week in the meantime, as you can imagine Ken can not work at the moment and Maggi can not stay with her in Bangkok because she needs to work in order to raise money to help paying for Ken's expenses. They are together for 14 years and they have never been apart for so long.

Unfortunately, Maggi's salary in not enough to pay for all the hospital bills plus the money that Ken needs to stay in Bangkok during this period such as food, transportation and other costs that government does not support. Ken's sister is taking care of her in Bangkok but Maggi and Ken's family don't have money to support them so Maggi also needs to pay for Ken's sister expenses.

In Samui, a Free Yoga Community was touched by Ken's story and they have been kindly giving money to help her since November. They already gave approximated 118,000 THB but until the end of May (where we hope Ken will be able to do the transplant) this couple still needs around 206,000 THB to cover her expenses.

If you are touched by their story and want to contribute to help save Ken's life, please help us with any donations that you can! 🙏
