Campaign Story
a few days ago while driving through a neighborhood in the suburbs of tunis, I came across a group of kids playing mischievously with a cat. When I approached them, they quickly ran away leaving the cat behind (Katia). She was in a such a bad shape that she wasn't even able to notice me approaching. Luckily, I saw the terrible scene and stopped the car. She tried to run away as I came close, but her paw was broken so she moved really slow. I managed to pick her up so I put her in the car and took her to the vet. She received IV and antibiotics for two days, and then she got a little better and started eating on her own. After that, we did an x-ray of the broken paw, and the vet said it is a pretty bad fracture, and to make it even worse he said it might be necessary to set a pin.
Now, Isa is at the vet's and suffers from a severe fracture that need to be treated as soon as possible. This represents too high expenses that that I certainly can't afford since the cheapest surgery costs 1800 TND (630 USD) and we will need some help to cover her surgery and treatement costs. It is necessary for her to get it because right now she can't even pee normally, let alone walk.We appreciate anyone who is able to contribute towards Katia’s surgery, and to everyone is shared this page! We will give updates as soon as we have them !
Thank you to all of you who let us have this angel's back. She says « Thank you ! » and we do too! 🐾
