Help Save Inigo

Iñigo, is now 1 year and 2 months, has been diagnosed with a chronic liver disease called Biliary Atresia when he was only 3 months old. It is a rare life-threatening disease that damages the liver which causes scarring, loss of liver tissue and eventually, cirrhosis.
Last December, he was admitted in the Philippine Children's Medical Center. His admission diagnosis was Choledochal Cyst and was scheduled for its removal. However, during the operation, the surgeon found out that instead of Choledochal Cyst, he has Biliary Atresia which is the primary reason why he has jaundice.

At age 1, he has already undergone 1 major operation, several procedures usually being done by adults (e.g. Ultrasound, MRCP, Biliary Exploration with Intraoperative Cholangiogram, Liver Biopsy, Cholecystectom, and CT Liver Angiogram), and lots of blood tests. Just this year, he has been admitted in the hospital for 3 times already (February, October and November). He also had his first bleeding episode this year which indicates that his condition is already getting worse.

This is the reason why we would like to appeal to your kind hearts. The cost of the transplant is around 4 million pesos. We've been accepted in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan already but we are still short on funds. Your help, no matter how little, will definitely lighten the scaring financial burden the family facing right now.
