First off, thank you for taking the time to read Feisty's story! If she knew what was going on, I'm sure she'd be overwhelmed by all the love.
I found Feisty in late March while two dogs were trying to make a toy out of her. I managed to get them off her but when I got close to her, I realised she couldn't move. She was very scared and looked exhausted so she got quite aggressive when I got close. With the protection of my oven mitts, I put her in a carrier and took her to the vet where we realised she must have also been hit by a car! Long story short, she has:
- a broken pelvis which is why she can't walk
- a broken tail which needs to be amputated
- a non-functioning bladder so the vets are "emptying" her manually.
The vets had suggested euthanasia but I'm not letting her "leave" without a fight!
Today, 5/4/18, she is undergoing surgery to fix her pelvis so she can start walking again, and this might hopefully also help her recovery with her bladder.
All in all, her treatment will cost about 1,000 euro and I will be covering the cost myself. Unfortunately, though, I don't have all of this money. I beg you to make a kind donation to help save Feisty's life!! I'm not going to bother with "every little counts" and other cliches because we already know all this, but I ask you to DO THIS ACT OF KINDNESS TODAY for a little cat. Please... xxx
