Help save Emy’s life!

For my birthday this year, I am running this campaign for my cousin Emy Ancheta's medical expenses as she is suffering with Chronic Kidney Disease. It started with severe cough turned Pneumonia in 2016, unfortunately after several tests, both her kidneys has failed which has made her creatine rise up. She has been in dialysis for 3 times a week since 2016 and has been in and out in the hospital for other treatments. For over 4 years now, Emy together with her parents have been battling this disease. For more than 4 years also, her parents who are both senior citizens and jobless have been struggling to sustain the treatments. Her mother has been sewing rags to sell for Php 70 (5.29 AED) per hundred pieces and his father have been falling in line through different government and non government institutions almost everyday to seek help even at times he has to fall in line as early as 2 in the morning. Dialysis costs her and her family about Php 3,000 per session (around 227 AED) 3 times a week. Her maintenance medications cost roughly Php 10,000 per month (756 AED). The life-saving and life-changing kidney transplant will cost around Php 800,000 (roughly 60,383 AED) for the procedure alone. And an additional Php 100,000 (7,546 AED) will be needed for Emy's anti-rejection drugs after the surgery. As we aim to help Emy with her medications and in God's grace, a possible kidney transplant, we also aim to help her parents (my Auntie and Uncle) who are both senior citizens and are jobless in providing financial and medical assistance to their child as it became extra hard for their family to sustain the medication due to series of lockdowns in Metro Manila. It is with great hope and faith that we will be able to raise funds for my cousin's medication through your generous help.
