This donation page is for my dad, he is an extremely proud man who has worked all his life. He lost his first wife ( my mum) to bowel cancer and nursed her until she passed away, this left three children which he worked hard to bring up alone. My dad remarried his second wife 9 years later, she was a lovely lady and they loved each other dearly, they purchased 2 little dogs one for each of them. Five years ago my dad was extremely unwell and was later diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia, this is cancer of the blood, he is still being treated and has 3 monthly visits for check ups with his consultant. Two years after my dad was diagnosed his second wife was also diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia which is a more aggressive form than my dad's, she fought her hardest against this cruel disease but lost her battle just last year, again my brave dad who is unwell himself nursed and cared for her until she passed away in his arms, he made a promise to her to take good care of their little dogs, beano and dandy. Last week both the dogs who are brothers were rushed into the vets, after four days in there my dad was told beano has an enlarged heart and fluid on the lungs, and dandy has a major problem with his pancreas, they were allowed home but this left a huge vet bill of just under £4000, they are both on weekly checks and medication which is adding to the bill, I try and help him out where i can but I don't earn this sort of money. If anyone out there can just spare a couple of pounds I would be eternally grateful, thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope I haven't bored you with my roller coaster of a life x
