Baby Adi, as we fondly call him, is the youngest son of Abigail, our staff in the Planning and Research Section of DepED Kidapawan Ciity Division. We are knocking on your generous hearts to help us raise funds for the immediate operation of his heart as recommended by his Pediatric Cardiologist. The first operation is for his Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) scheduled on Wednesday, September 9 if everything goes well with the preliminary lab tests. It has been on hold for many times already because of the recurring fever. The family is in Davao Docotor's Hospital now for a month already.

Jon Adriel Avila Escaner was born on June 7, 2020.Weeks after he was born his parents were worried as he would turn blue everytime he cries. He holds his breath when he cries causing alarm to his parents. On June 23, their pediatrician requested for laboratory tests to check on the baby. An electrocardiogram was done. The findings concluded that the baby had Congenital Heart Disease, Patent Foramen Ovale, Ventricular Septal Defect Subaortic Type, Patent Ductus Arteriosus, and Tricuspid Regurgitation, Moderate. In simple terms, his heart has holes in it. To make matters worst is his amoebiasis two weeks before turning two months old. He rushed again to the hospital. Since then, Adi has only been home once pn August 7 to celebrate his second month with his family. The next day he was rushed again to Davao Doctors Hospital and has not returned home since admitted. The doctor deems it urgent to have his operation. So we appeal to everyone to help us save Adi's heart.
