WHO WE ARE

Dogs for Diabetics, Inc. (D4D) is an innovative 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which trains Medical-Alert Assistance Dogs to alert on the life-threatening condition of hypoglycemia in insulin-dependent diabetic children and adults. Since our inception in 2004, D4D has been helping insulin-dependent diabetics 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We join the diabetic community in hoping for a cure of this disease; however, D4D’s sole purpose is to support diabetics, in order to improve their lives today!

WE NEED YOUR HELP

This matching opportunity couldn’t be needed more, as we are working hard to expand our current program, enhance the outreach of our organization, and better serve our clients across a larger geographic area. There are over 100 inquires for every dog we have available. Recognizing the high cost of medical services required by our clients we provide our dogs the needed training, and all follow-up services at no cost. Our resources can’t keep up with the demand we face.
