Hello everyone,

I know a girl in Iran, named Sara, from a not wealthy enough family, who are not able to afford the expenses for the study for their daughter. We, me and my wife, were trying to pay for all expenses for Sara’s studies till she gets to university and gets a job. We knew in advance that the family had many shortcomings but since we could not make a promise to meet all family expenses, we took a responsibility only for Sara’s education.

Few days ago, we realized that Sara’s mom is trying to marry her (she is only 15 years old now) to a lot older man. Sara’s mother was thinking that that man can help to fix the shortcomings in their family. With the help of social worker, we could persuade her for a short term not to make her daughter marry this guy. But Sara is still under the risk of early marriage.

Therefore, I decided to raise fund to help her mother to fix some shortcomings in their house and talk to her and try to persuade her to let her daughter focus on her studies afterwards. We think that by removing some pressure from mother, she will let her daughter to continue her studies. (Sara’s father is dead many years ago.)

The shortcomings for the family are, refrigerator, gas pipe for heating and cooking and renew the water pump, which is very old, and they do not have water in the house on regular basis.

We miss 1400 CAD to do all this stuff. Please help us out to help our poor girl.

Attached is her picture and the social worker’s report on her family.

p.s: Sara is very successful in her studies right now.
