This is Sapon’s Story, my Grandma

She is a very wise and strong woman, who just turned this June 84 years old. Adda Arcenia, best known as Sapon, given my me, Daiyalim Casanova from a Childreen’s Songbook that we love to read from when i was 8 years old; had always had challenges with her health, but always finded a way of connecting to love and God. At the present moment i will like to raised money for a surgery that she needs to get a rigth knee prosthesis due the cronic pain for now w6 months.
Through having a life made of commintments and responsabilities from a very young age, to have a very small though nice and gentle family that loves her and support her very much (she is basically the QUEEN); she has been such a blessed person besides the sacrifices.
Sapon not only is very intelectual and rational person about life in general, but she is incredibely tolerant and strong women, must of all, determine to suceed in all the challenges that are presented to her. Three years ago, one of her daugthers invite her to a beach trip to celebrate the upcoming Christmas, but sadly intead of being a break from all the madness that we constaly live in Venezuela, especially in Caracas where she resides; it sadly turn out to be a dramatic experience, where the car collapse and all the ones involves where uncouiuncuss from the crash, but thankfully, an Angel on the road rescue them and took them to the nearest hospital, in Turmero, Venezuela. This journey put Sapon in some very harsh spot to be in at 81 year old, with 9 ribbs broken, the right clavicle broken also, and a very affected lung, where the doctors had to drained all the water in it, Adda was putted in some delicted state. That episode was a very emotional end of the year, but she made it through for a year and a half recuperation process and put a lot of effort to live with LOVE and not wonder of what happened that day.
The fact that Sapon is alive,is a miracle, and is pretty astonishing to me still, and i just thank God for it. I’m telling you all this, to get you into perspective of how strong and powerful she is!
Recently in December 2016, Sapon began with a discomfort in her right knee, and at first it was some unrelevant situation, because who at that age doens’t feel some kind of pain. However this new thing, became more and more complicated, when she start complaining about the amount of pain that she had, which i don’t wish for anybody to have! Like ever. So, my family and I tried many options, like prescripted drugs, accupunture, physical theraphy, pain relievers lotions, ice, hot pads, and until this day she is still wit a pretty harsh inflamation on her knee. Although with a pretty good attitude about what is next to come, she is wishing that in some near future, she will be able to get a right knee prosthesis to release the pain and live with comfort.
The issue is, we can’t afford the cost of the operation, which involve both prosthesis and doctor excecution, because of the demaging inflation that Venezuela had been presenting that enables my family to make this commitment due this urgent matter. So that’s why i’m trying to see if there is any nice gestures out there that could help me to make this dream happen. The operation cost around 2800,00 $ and prices get higher from week to week, more so, the hospitals just give you a budget validated for only 15 days.
So, i’m just hope this funding site is a way to request donations to help Sapon and raised money to get to the ultimate goal. Thanks so much for your time and LOVE.

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT. #HELPSAPONGETANEWKNEE
