HELP SAMUEL TO SMILE AGAIN

HOPE AND PRAYERS FOR SAMUEL

Love to Live is a Registered Non Profit Organisation based in the UK. Our aim is to support cleft children and children with facial differences overseas whilst also supporting the wonderful work of Operation Smile.

Samuel lives in Raiki village about 3 hours from Kampala in Uganda. Our volunteer Mugema came across this beautiful family on his travels. Samuel is 12 years old and is suffering from Venous Malformation which he has had since birth and it is worsening.

We have been told that the primary treatment would be a multiple course of sclerotherapy with 99% alcohol performed by intervention radiologist. He will need several injection procedures (more than 20 to 30 treatments) over his lifetime.

Once the malformation downsizes, the surgical resection may be helpful. There is no curative treatment for this condition. Because of the nature of this particular disease (multiple small injection procedures) we have taken him to Corsu Rehabilitation Hospital however we need to raise funds for his MRI head and neck scans to enable his treatment to be continued.

Samuel is finding it so extremely difficult to talk, eat, smile and even breathe which means his family are awake constantly ensuring that he is safe. He has been ridiculed and horrendously bullied at school which has resulted in him now being uneducated and without social interaction with his peers too.

Any donations would be so very much appreciated as Samuel so much deserves to live a life free from both physical and emotional pain.
