Help Samantha Dawn Fight Leukemia

The past couple months have been a whirlwind. It's like a nightmare.

Hello Everyone!

Samantha Dawn is our 7 years old daughter. Sammy is very energetic, sweet, and a kid full of love that wants nothing more than to make everyone around her happy. She is fond of TikTok just like a lot of kids at her age and she made a lot of amazing and entertaining videos out of it. She is smart, beautiful, and full of energy until few days after her 7th birthday that she became sick. It was April 21, 2020 when we brought Sammy to Emergency Room, she lost some weight and not really feeling well. A series of blood tests were conducted and the shocking results revealed that our dear Sammy have Pre B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (blood CANCER).

Sam’s Protocol Treatment will last for 3 long years. In summary, her treatment sequence will be:

• Induction - done
• Consolidation - done
• Interim Maintenance - CURRENT
• Delayed Intensification
• Maintenance (Duration 2.5 years from start of interim maintenance for females,
  3 years for males.)

The past couple months have been a whirlwind. It's like a nightmare. This is going to be a long journey. Me, her Mom and family are preparing ourselves for the ups and downs that we will be facing over the next couple years on Sammy’s road to treatment and recovery. It will be risky and stormy but we will fight for Sammy and she will get through this. I am reassured that God is in control.

Please keep Sammy with your thoughts and prayers and please pray also for all the doctors, nurses, and health care providers involved in this situation. May they be blessed with the wisdom and grace needed to provide the best care possible.

Sammy is going to require a lot of help and this is going to be a very long road to recovery. As we receive more information from the doctors, we will post it here to keep you all informed.

We requested an estimate overall treatment costs but we haven’t receive it yet. With family, friends and relative’s generous help, we’re able to pay for Sam’s hospitalization and treatment of P400K in the last 3 months. For ongoing treatment, we will need your support.
