Help Salman cope with Covid-19

Salman is a tour guide in the northern areas of Pakistan and works in the tourism industry. He offers various types of services to tourists coming from all over the world including personal guides, equipment rentals for mountain climbers, camping services, providing local services and more .Tourism is the primary source of income for many residents of the northern areas.

Unfortunately, since Pakistan , like the rest of world, got hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, Salman's tourism business has been severely affected. With flights cancelled, there has been a complete loss of foreign tourists coming to Pakistan and local tourism has been greatly impacted as well.

With little to no support from the country's government, Salman is left with no choice but to spend from whatever savings he's had, which are slowly diminishing.

Salman is a father of six and resides in Skardu, located in the norther areas. I first met Salman in 2018 when I first decided to take the road less travelled and explore the northern areas of Pakistan. It's still to date, one of my top travelling experiences ever and it's only because of the exceptional services and support that Salman provided me during my week long tour. Salman went out of the way to make my stay beyond amazing, extremely memorable and truly one of a kind. He accompanied me throughout my trip, gave an extremely detailed of every place I visited and never said no to any direction or place that I expressed interest in travelling to.

He was always there for me and it hurts me to know that my friend is in need and I alone am not enough to offer him the financial support that he requires in this trying time to take care of himself and his family.

Together, we can make it a lot easier for Salman to cope with this pandemic.
