Out of body experience documentary – to poor man community

Hello! My name is masud!

In 2014 I had a powerful Out of Body Experience (OBE) that transformed my life, and I couldn't go on doing the same work knowing what I knew now....

I left my own company and a 12 year career in the arts to study this human phenomena as part of my masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology at Middlesex University.

This short documentary is part of and reflects my findings from my masters research which investigates the transformative effects of the Out of Body Experience....

What happens and does it impact one life?

What does this suggest about consciousness and the nature of reality?

My approach to this film is part personal story & part talking heads with a grounded view of the phenomena - bridging science and spirituality.

WHATS THE AIM?

The aim of this film is to CHALLENGE stigma, DISRUPT preconceived ideas about OBE’s, EDUCATE the general public and spread AWARENESS of its effects.

This film will do this in 3 simple ways:

1. Tell real life stories through interviewing normal people whom have had genuine OBEs

(case studies for my research are screened beforehand to rule out any other phenomena)

2. Share up to date academic studies on OBEs

3. Interview a balanced range of experts with diverse perspectives

(including sceptics and ‘believers’ from scientific and spiritual backgrounds)

WHY INVEST IN ME....

1. HELP SPREAD AWARENESS

10 - 25% of people have had an OBE, in science its called non-local perception and in anthropology it recognised as a cross cultural phenomena.

By supporting this documentary you will be informing the general public and raising awareness for health and well-being circles. Smashing stigma and disrupting old ideas.

2. CONTRIBUTE TO RESEARCH OF TRANSPERSONAL EXPERIENCES

(human experiences beyond the boundaries of ‘self’)

If you have had a transpersonal experience (or perhaps even if you havent) you might have a sense that there is something mysterious about the nature of consciousness and reality.

Little research is being done in the area of exploring these experiences academically (particularly OBEs). My findings fill a gap in OBE research, contribute to the field and inform future studies. Woop!

3. SUPPORT FEMALE LEADERSHIP

There is a HUGE gender gap in female leaders in this subject area, by supporting this documentary you are helping to raise the platform of ladies in this sector. Hurrah!
