Around two days ago, a family member brought this beautiful creature home. She was confined in a tiny cage with mud piling up in the inches so her little feet were perpetually wet and irritated. She was scared, confused, and in rough shape. We have no idea where she came from, except that someone was giving her away. After a bit of TLC she has brightened up with such a sweet and cuddly personality. We know that we are not equipped to take care of her for the rest of her life, so we found her a loving home who will care for her forever, with a rabbit brother who will keep her good company.
Because we don't know where she has come from, we will be giving her a complete check-up and any treatments she requires. If she has something that might be transmittable to her future rabbit brother, she will need to stay overnight at the vet for however long her issue subsides. Only then can she finally go to her permanent home. Together with her spay, we expect this to cost around $250.
Even if it's a small amount, every dollar helps.
