Help Roel fight Cancer

I am Roel A. Tagapan, 22 years old.

I am a PUJ (Public Utility Jeepney) driver from the Philippines. I got into this job early since I stopped studying ever since my dad got sick which made me the breadwinner of the family.

But something happened that made my life more challenging. I thought I only had sinusitis and did not expect when I found out that was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma, a type of cancer originating in the nasopharynx. And now at our current state, the COVID19 has worsened my situation causing many restrictions for my treatment. I don’t know where to find such a large amount of money for all the medicine and procedures that I have to go through. I have asked for help from all the people I know but they couldn’t help me as well because they were also affected by the pandemic. I don’t know where else I can possibly seek help. The cancer cells have slowly been manifesting my brain and the doctor said that if I couldn’t get my treatment as soon as possible, it would become too late for me to survive

As of to date I still need to undergo 42 sessions of Radiation therapy and 6 sessions of Chemotherapy. So far my body has been responding very well with the treatment but sad to say that my savings can only last for 2 more Radiation therapy.

Each Radiation Therapy costs 3000 pesos (60USD) and Chemotherapy costs 7000 pesos (138USD).
