Campaign Story
Robert Smith has been selected to represent South Africa in the U18 World Baseball Cup in South Korea from the 30th August - 8th Sept 2019. Robert has been playing baseball since the age of 5 and represented Western Province in SA Nationals from the tender age of 8, U10, U12 and U15.
Robert emigrated with his family when he was 14 years old to the United Kingdom where he has continued playing baseball at Herts Baseball Club for U17 and the NBL Senior League. In June19 he played in the European Federations Cup in Bulgaria for the Herts Falcons team.
This has been a lifetime dream come true for Robert! Please help him get back to South Africa to join his team-mates in Pre -Tournament training and travel with the team. Any donation will be hugely appreciated to get him on his way. Thank you in advance!
