Campaign Story
Grandma is 85 this year. Just had her birthday on 17/01/19. Grandma has 5 school-going grandchildren. They live with her as her daughter is a divorcee and making ends meet by the day with help from welfare and kindness of neighbourhood.
The house condition has been deteriorating over the last 40 years as it has not seen any structural maintenance. During heavy rain, the water will leak onto the ceiling boards as you can see. Repairs are costly. She needs help from everyone.
I am one of her nieces who is helping her periodically but the cost is too big this time. We need all to chip in, please. Thank you for your kindness and generosity ! May you be blessed in abundance with your kind help.
Update : Since the incident, we have engaged a repairman to do a temporary patch at minimal cost while waiting for the more permanent solution to be applied.
