Help Repairing The House

This home belongs to my husband's mother, where we are currently living in together with our 5 children,aged as young as 2 months old to 17 years old. My husband started of the work of repairing the House 3 years back when he received the insurance money for the injury he sustained 4 years from a motor-vehicle accident, injuring his lower back, but luckily it did not paralysed him. The idea of repairing the house was something he has always wanted to do since the cracks on the ceiling and walls of our house worsen over years, especially with water leaking in almost every part of the house. These problems caused him sleepless nights, for fearing the worse that would happen, like ceiling falling down and hurt any of us. At least with the bigger sum of money received, we had managed to further delay such unforeseen consequences by self-repairing the leaking and taking steps to strengthen the house structure with steel built and welded, and a roof built to cover the exposed 1st floor from rain,thus preventing bad water retention that caused swelling and cracks of the kitchen ceiling. Unfortunately, the money was not enough for us to finish the repair, and slowly these steel structure are rusting, house are not well gated, and exposed. Thus security of the house isn't there, because anyone can just climb into our house at any point of time. Pests like rats are also increasing with numbers over the years. Presence of this pests add on worries to our already worrying thoughts,especially when we have little kids in the house because pests invite pest related illness. We need your help to us complete the repair works of our home.
