Help Repair my Back!

I would like to seek assistance in healing my back.

In 2014 September, having been plagued by immense pain at my lower back area, an X-Ray and MRI was carried out by the Singapore General Hospital and two conditions were noted, spina bifida and degenerative disc disease at the L5/S1 intervertebral disc.

Over the course of the past 1 and a half years, the pain has grown considerably worse, i am unable to sit, stand or stay in the same position for more than 20 minutes. The direct consequence has cost me my job, and i have been unemployed for the past 9 months. I have been repeatedly sending out resumes and applying to jobs, but in this down market and my pre-existing condition, it has proven to be next to impossible to secure a job right now.

My doctor has advised me that my condition is deteriorating, giving rise to bone spurs. DDD by itself does not cause immense pain, however, bone spurs grow into an area where nerves exit the spine, and the constant rubbing of the nerves is causing immense pain. Unfortunately, the only solution as recommended is for surgery to remove the bone spur.

The cost estimated, after deducting any deductibles, is estimated to consist of a $8000 cash payment including rehabilitation. I am in dire straits at the moment financially, being employed for the past 9 months has put a serious strain on my finances with no end in sight. I am trying to raise $10,000 to cover for any other payments necessary for the surgery, but every small cent counts to me right now.
