Help Renata to continue studying

Hello. My name is Renata, I originally come from Czech Republic, but currently I live in a beautifull town in West Yorkshire.

I always wanted to have my own camera. That’s why at the age of 20, after working full time at a restaurant in my home town, I saved enought money to buy my first own DSLR camera. It was a life-changing moment. I found a whole new world and a whole new me in it. Took pictures of everything and carried camera everywhere with me. I completely fell in love with it. However, pursuing my dream wasn’t going to come without a cost.

Few months ago I receive the best e-mail in my entire life. I got accepted to Undergraduate Photography course at the University of Huddersfield. I knew I would not be able to pay my tuition fees by myself with the costs of education being so high, so I applied for student loan. I arrange my accomodation further from a town centre, bought one way ticket and said „Good bye“ to my mum and grandma.

Unfortunately last week I receive possibly the worst news for a student ever. I will not receive funding for my first year of study. I am eligible for funding for rest of the course, but not for the begginning. Since then I am looking for the ways to gather that amount of money so I would not have to withdraw from university. Being classified as a non UK student I am not eligible for scholarship or hardship fund of any kind.

I am currently working part time at coffeeshop and getting trained in an another part time job, but even with those two I am not able to put together enough money.

That is why, I am setting this acount. I am asking you to help me with the first step of my journey of becoming a professional photographer. To help me fulfil my dream.
